A Nigerian Twitter user identified as Eirene, @Chaotic_vixen, on the platform has narrated how her father was erroneously debited the sum of ₦1.8 million from his account while paying for fuel at a filling station with a POS. Surprisingly, her father didn’t even realize he was debited such a huge amount until 2 days later when he was approached by the filling station manager when he stopped by to buy more fuel.
“Lmao. Guys, forget the rice gist. My father apparently “bought” 1.8m naira fuel without knowing two days ago (attendant’s error) The manager of the petrol station just stopped him to inform him. Their accounts department or whatever has been trying to figure it out.”
