Daddy Freeze leaves Cool Fm after 20 years

Controversial Nigerian on-air personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, has taken to social media to make a big announcement  
 Freeze has announced that he is leaving popular radio station, Cool FM 
 The media personality said that he joined Cool FM when it was just three years old and it is time for him to leave Change is the only constant thing in life and people have to make amends in their lives to get the possible best from it. The world keeps evolving and people do too so as not to be left behind. 

Many times, people find their calling in life and they stick to it for as long as they can. Well, the time comes when they finally want something different and they go in search of it. Controversial Nigerian on-air personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, took to social media via his Instagram page on March 12, 2020, to make a big announcement. After 13 years.

The broadcaster announced that he would be leaving the radio station he has worked with for 20 years, Cool FM. Speaking further, Freeze said that he joined Cool FM when the radio station was just three years old and that he has been with them for the better part of 20 years. He also said that he is perhaps the broadcaster who has stayed with the station for the longest period. Freeze then thanked his fans who listened to his segment on the shows and he asked that they do not make his leaving too emotional and that he is not leaving radio. 

In the caption of the video, Freeze wrote

: "I’m leaving Coolfm...Hi guys, after 20 years on @coolfmlagos the time has come to say goodbye. Would miss you all... BIG announcement coming soon."
