Juventus vs AC Milan’s Coppa Italia semi-final second-leg clash has been postponed barely 24 hours before kick-off.
Italian authorities were forced to cancel the highly anticipated fixture billed for Turin due to the continued spread of the coronavirus in the country.
Several major sporting events have been banned in its entirety in three regions of the country including Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy. Although Italian authorities say top flight matches can go on behind closed-doors, the Serie A administrators prefer not to play without fans in the stadium
Over 40,000 tickets for the clash has already been sold, while health officials earlier warned spectators to keep at least one metre apart.
