Nigerian Senate introduces bill to ban the use of generator in the country

The Nigerian Senate has introduced a bill on  Wednesday, 11th March 2020, to ban the use of generator around the country.

The bill was sponsored by Senator Bima Muhammadu and has passed it's first reading in the Senate.

If eventually passed into law, the bill dubbed 'Generator set (prohibition) bill' will ban all usage of generator sets in the Federation.
