Why you need sleep



Sleep plays a big part in both learning and memory. Without enough sleep, it's tough to focus and take in new information. Your brain also doesn't have enough time to properly store memories so you can pull them up later..

1. Better productivity

  Researchers have concluded that the brain has links to various body functions including productivity and concentration.sleep pattern can have a direct impact on behaviors and performance of people especially children. Sleeping up to 8 hrs a day will do a lot for your brain and its impact on the human body


2. Lower weight gain risk

  The link between weight gain, obesity and short sleep pattern is not completely clear

There have been several studies throughout the years they have linked obesity to shortly pattern but more recently we find that it is low, there are no links whatsoever..   The researchers failed to add adequate factors such as drinking, having type 2 diabetes,  long working hours, levels of physical activities e.t.c. lack of sleep may affect the desire for someone to maintain a healthy lifestyle but it may or may not contribute to weight gain

3. Better calorie regulation

Similar to gaining weight, there are evidences  to suggest that sleeping well at night can help you burning enough calories during the day

When a person doesn't sleep for long it made it may affect the body's ability to regulate food intake.

Getting enough sleep at night can help the blood pressure regulate itself doing so can reduce the level of sleep conditions like apnea and promote better overall heart health


5. Stronger immune system 

Sleep helps the body repair, regenerate, and recover. The immune system is no exception to this relationship. Some research shows how better sleep quality can help the body fight off infection.
However, scientists still need to do further research into the exact mechanisms of sleep in regards to its impact on the body’s immune system.
