Confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria rises to 89 as 8 new cases are reported

8 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported in Nigeria, raising the total confirmed cases to 89.

7 of the new cases were reported in Lagos state and 1 in Benue state.

Announcing the news on Twitter, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control wrote:

 "8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State. As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death."
